Revolver Taco Lounge in Ft. Worth was one of the restaurants featured on Andrew Zimmern's Bizarre Foods last Monday night...
Mike looks skeptical...probably afraid I was going to order young goat...or a pig head....
I got something called Traditional Chile en Nogada. It was on the evening specials menu. Description: following an ancient recipe created by nuns in Puebla, Mexico during the colonial times, fire roasted poblano pepper, stuffed with sauteed chopped pork, beef, onion, cinnamon, raisins, almonds, pears, peaches, spices, covered with a rich English walnut, almond, fresh goat cheese, and Spanish sherry cream sauce, garnished with pomegranate and fresh parsley. It was soooo good!
Mike got tres tacos, with sides of rice and beans. I didn't taste them, but they looked really good...
We sat outdoors at a table next to the street. The weather was perfect for alfresco dining...
Love the twinkle lights in the trees across the street...
Driving through downtown Ft. Worth on the way home...beautiful evening...top down...I took a photo of the fabulous courthouse!
